WHAT I DO

My name is Nicole Herron. I received a B.S in Interior Design from East Carolina University in 2014, with a diverse design background. I am currently a mentor for East Carolina University's interior design students and working towards obtaining my NCIDQ certification in the Spring of 2021. I currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. However, I am open to relocating and traveling for design opportunities.

With a diverse design background, I've been able to gain experience in various avenues, such as the flooring industry, designing government facilities, educational facilities, healthcare environments, residential establishments, retail design, and  QSR design. In working with major brands, I've  been able to focus on customer experience and commercial kitchen planning for a variety of retail and restaurant settings. I have also recently taken all test to obtain my NCIDQ Certification in 2021.

Currently, I am a shop designer and program manager. I lead design initiatives and shop development projects for a major retail brand. My role focuses on process management, FF&E design and standardization, architectural set redlining, timeline management, and much  more. My constant goal is to maintain to a design role that allows me to stretch my creativity, as well as involvement with practicality, drawings, specifications, and all that involves design.
